Tuxedo cats with long hair have a special place in my heart, and one particular feline caught my attention. His name is Wednesday, and he hails from Scotland. This poor kitty had a rough start in life when his supposed forever home fell through, leaving him without a family to care for him. Thankfully, things looked up for Wednesday when a loving family took him in, promising never to abandon him.
Recently, a kind-hearted woman named Amber was browsing through online ads for cats up for adoption in her country. She came across Wednesday’s picture and felt an instant connection with the little guy. Without delay, Amber contacted the seller to find out more about this adorable Tuxedo cat, who was in dire need of a new home.
The person who shared the post about the charming black and white kitten was lending a hand to a friend, but lacked adequate information about the feline. Amber intervened to obtain more details, and immediately informed her partner to pick up the kitten who needed a home. Upon arrival, Amber was smitten with the cute and furry kitten that appeared to be a crossbreed of Maine Coon and Siberian breeds. Wednesday, as the feline had been named, adapted swiftly to the new environment and Amber promptly booked an appointment with a veterinarian for vaccinations and a checkup. During the examination, the vet revealed an unexpected surprise – Wednesday was male and not female as perceived earlier. Interested in knowing more about this endearing and exceptional kitten, I got in touch with Amber. Continue reading to uncover more about Wednesday!
How did Wednesday join your family? Well, I was searching for a new cat and came across his picture in a free advertisement. I instantly fell in love with him and contacted the person who posted the ad. Concerned that he may have already found a home since the ad had been up for two days, we spoke to the man who wasn’t fluent in English and wasn’t sure about the kitten’s age or vaccinations. He was just helping his friend, who needed to leave the country, find a new owner for the little feline. Despite the uncertainty, we decided to take a chance and brought Wednesday home. The next day, we took him to the vet for a check-up and immunization shots.
Regarding his name, I initially thought he was a girl and picked “Wednesday” as an homage to the spooky and stylish character from the Addams Family. However, when we discovered he was a boy, I opted to keep the name and simply shortened it to “Wedwed.” Since then, he has been an adored member of our family! Could you provide insights into the character of Wednesday?
Wednesday’s demeanor is subject to change based on his emotions. He can be loving and relish being held, but he could also hiss at Elvis, his French bulldog housemate.
Who else shares the abode with Wednesday?
Aside from Curly the poodle, whom he adores, Wednesday cohabits with Elvis, the French bulldog he doesn’t care much for, as well as three feline buddies: Simba, Snowflake, and Brillo.
What sets Wednesday apart?
Wednesday’s purr resonates so loudly that it sounds like a tractor engine! It’s as though he was supposed to be with his owner.
I’m thankful to Wednesday’s owner for permitting me to disclose Wednesday’s tale to Cattitude Daily readers. Despite his topsy-turvy existence before finding his owner, he has now discovered his eternal dwelling.
